Tim is an accomplished football player and coach from Western Sydney with extensive experience in elite pathway development. He began his football journey at age four and by age eleven was selected for representative football in the state metro league. During this time, he received a four-year scholarship with Football NSW for elite pathway development and represented the state in national tournaments. He went on to play Super League for eight years at the first-grade level before retiring. After retiring from playing, Tim transitioned into coaching, and his career quickly progressed through various high-level positions.
Tim's coaching career is a testament to rapid progression through elite football pathways. He launched his coaching journey in 2017 by founding WFA and quickly moved into professional roles, beginning with his recruitment by Blacktown Spartans in 2018 for their SAP program. His potential was immediately recognized, leading to a promotion to the senior coaching staff that same year, followed by a tenure as Head Coach for the Spartans U18s from 2018 to 2019.
His career trajectory then accelerated with a move to the A-League Men's system, joining Macarthur Bulls FC as assistant coach for the U23s squad. This experience paved the way for national team involvement, as he was recruited in 2020 to serve as an assistant coach for the Future Matildas, leading to his appointment as assistant coach for the Young Matildas in 2021. He participated with the team in the U-20 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica in 2022 and served as a Technical Assistant during the FIFA Women's World Cup hosted in Australia in 2023.
Returning to club football, Tim became Co-Head Coach of the Macarthur Bulls FC U23s Men's A-League Academy in 2024. This extensive experience in both youth and elite development culminated in his 2025 appointment as the Head of Football (HOF) for both the Macarthur Football Association and the Macarthur Rams.
Tim's experience spans both the men's and women's games, from youth development to national team programs, and he holds an AFC/FFA A-Diploma. He is focused on promoting and developing football talent within the Macarthur community and Penrith region.
